For BRAFA 2026, Martins&Montero presents a group exhibition featuring design works by American artist Jimmie Durham, drawings and furniture by Brazilian architect Lina Bo Bardi, and recent paintings by Belgian artist Jan De Maesschalck.
Durham’s assemblages explore notions of identity through raw, elemental materials. Bo Bardi’s works reflect a humanist approach to modernism, grounded in tactile experience and social engagement.
De Maesschalck’s paintings unfold in quiet, introspective scenes shaped by gesture and atmosphere. Together, these practices open a dialogue between art, architecture, and design, grounded in material sensitivity and poetic form.
