“It was around 1993 that I recognized and nominated the ‘diagrams’ as part of my art practice; they had been a diffuse presence for some time, together with a sort of graphic impulse by means of drawing, printing ans writing. Progressively, I realized that my proposals were pointing to a sort of dynamics that would need to be emphasized through a more particular mapping strategy – one that could indicate a process not related to this or that specific medium or object, but which would account for the development of a project, a strategy for action – discussing contemporary art and the role / image of the artist as forces in direct contact with the outside (the subject, the society).”
