PhD in Visual Arts, IA, UFRGS.
Professor at the UFRGS College of Application.

His drawings, embroideries, ceramics, collages, sculptures, and installations come from different subjects, originating from visual investigations into natural and dreamlike events as if taken from old hardback encyclopedias or magical books. Among these subjects: the formation of stones, the origin of volcanoes and mountains, the fall of meteorites, the planets that surround us, the strange shapes of corals, shells and trees, the possible existence of unidentified flying objects, the execution of magic tricks, the transformative operations of alchemy and magic, the visual effects of opium and its derivatives, the images that inhabit nightmares, horimono-style tattoo designs, and science fiction films.

In 2025, he presents the solo exhibition Entrevero at Martins&Montero, and in 2024, presented Livro Verde, a solo exhibition at Instituto Ling (Porto Alegre), which accompanied the launch of his artist book. In 2023, she took part in the Artist-in-residence Programm of the Salzburger Kunstvereins, producing the artist publication BERG. In 2021 he had the solo show O nome vem depois, curated by Lilia Schwarcz, at Sé Galeria in São Paulo. His main exhibitions include the 36th Panorama of Brazilian Art (2019, MAM/SP) , RS XXI (2017, Santander Cultural/RS), Soft Cover Revolution (2015, Fundación Arte Vivo Otero Herrera/Madrid), Festival Vídeo Brasil (2014, SESC/SP), 9th Mercosur Biennial (2013, Memorial do Rio Grande do Sul/RS), Temporada de Projetos Paço das Artes (2012, Paço das Artes/SP), Rumos Artes Visuais (2011, Itaú Cultural/SP), Programa de Exposições Centro Cultural de São Paulo (2010, Centro Cultural de São Paulo/SP), receiving the PECCSP Artist Residency Award at Hangar in Barcelona in 2011. He has published two books through FUNARTE’s Critical Production Incentive Awards: As soon as it’s published, I’ll send it to you (2013) and Expansive Strategies of Art: artists’ publications and their moving spaces (2010).
